Just a littlie time in the Hyatt Regency emphasises the fact that it is, perhaps, the most modern, contemporary, ‘international’ hotel in Kolkata in its building and concept. The high-ceiling huge lobby, the thoroughly-modern, spacious, light-filled, interactive show kitchen, superb view of the waterbodies and gardens all make the multi-cuisine Waterside Café a very special place. Special mention has to be made of the large and luxurious step-down bathrooms in Italian Valentino marble which occupy more than one-third of the 36 sq. metre rooms, which offer the best in latest hi-tech facilities. There are three floors of the Hyatt’s “hotel within a hotel”, the Regency Club, which offers a dedicated lounge and other additional facilities including a complimentary private boardroom for a limited time. During the last year, the holistic ‘Spa and rejuvenation centre’, Club Prana, has become fully functional. The Bar, with its intimate and comfortable atmosphere, is  becoming increasingly popular and a preferred stop during pub crawls.
